3 Day Refresh – Review and Results Journal, Day 2

Day 2 of the 3 Day Refresh was even easier for me. Again, I was definitely hungry at some points. I really like starting the day out with a big glass of water. I didn’t want to eat – well, drink – breakfast till later but I made myself.

Work was less crazy so I was able to eat a it more on schedule today. I actually looked forward to the Fiber Sweep since I was starting to feel pretty hungry around 10:30! I wasn’t ready for lunch at 12:30 but I had a meeting so I had to eat it. I thought I would be ravenous since I the snack is pretty small for the afternoon. I was actually okay though.

The drive home was not so fun. I normally get home around 6 pm and the weather was really bad so traffic followed suit. I started to feel VERY hungry out of nowhere at 6:30 and was almost  home. I threw that recipe on the stove in a hot minute! Haha! I scarfed it. Skipped the broth and just had a cup of tea since I ate too fast. It was a good move I guess because I was fine after the tea. Perhaps this is teaching me better to recognize hunger vs. thirst?

I slept great again. Like fantasticly great. Overall I feel really good too. Lighter.

Here is what I ate and when:

6:30 am – Water (12 oz)

Breakfast:
7:45 am – Chocolate Vegan Shakeology (with 10 oz of water)
– Cantaloupe

9:00 am – Jasmine Green Tea (with 12 oz of water)
10:00 am – Jasmine Green Tea (with 12 oz of water)

11:00 am – Fiber Sweep (with 8 oz of water)

11:30pm – Water (12 oz)

Lunch:
12:30 pm – Vanilla Fresh (made with 10 oz of water)
– Cantaloupe
– Carrots & Almond Butter

2:00 pm – Lemon Ginger Tea (made with 12 oz of water)

3:00 pm – Jasmine Green Tea (made with 12 oz of water)

Snack:
3:30 pm – Celery & Hummus

5:30pm – Water (16 oz)

Dinner:
6:45 pm – Vanilla Fresh (made with 10 oz of water)
– Vegetable Stir fry (from the book)

7:30 pm – Lemon Ginger Tea (made with 12 oz of water)
9:30 pm – Sleepytime herbal tea (made with 12 oz of water)

Water tally:

Total water for today was 150 ounces including the Vanilla Fresh, Fiber Sweep & Shakeology.

Calories:

Calorie count clocks in at around 1100 for the day.

Weight:

Down 3.9 lbs.

Digestion:

Normal again, with minor tummy grumbles in the afternoon and evening.

Mood:

Excellent.

Energy:

Good.

Sleep:

Excellent.

I am writing this up one day after so I can include weight, sleep and energy levels. Check back tomorrow and see how day 2 went!
