Its raining like hell right now and I don’t know if I will wake up in Kansas tomorrow. Seriously, it is some Wizard of Oz type shit out there. Anyway…
It’s a Saturday and I got booted most of the day so people could come see the house. Should have seen the look Pop gave me when I told him I didn’t want to order a pizza this afternoon. Now I am not saying I will never have that yummy goodness again – I AM saying I didn’t and don’t want it right now. Something about the things that I cut out keeps me so satiated. I have NO cravings at all. It is sort of insane. Dr. Junger talks about “Crowding Out” the less healthy foods you eat so you eat less of them. It’s working. After the elimination diet is over I plan on keeping his type of meal plan for lunches, coupled with my Shakeo for breakfast so I don’t get afternoon cravings for good. Hopefully.
Also went to a party and was fine without the alcohol or yummy snacks there. I felt a bit rude refusing everything but we got there really late after the movie and I truly didn’t want anything. In addition to my scalp and legs clearing up I also lost 8 pounds of bloat and water retention on this way of eating so far. Since Monday. Thats a bit crazy to think that something in my diet is causing that much bloating. It can’t be too much water that I lost, as I normally take in lower sodium than most folks and about a gallon of water a day. We shall see!
